Eligibility basics

Students must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. The minimum age is 17 years at the time of admission. There is no upper age limit as per the Supreme Court ruling.

Attempt limit

There is currently no cap on the number of NEET UG attempts. Students can appear every year until they secure admission or choose to stop.

Preparation framework

NCERT is the foundation for all three subjects. Biology carries 360 marks out of 720 โ€” it is the highest-weight subject and the most predictable. Physics and Chemistry require concept clarity and formula application.
